Privacy Policy

This describes what information Guest XI collects, why, and how it's used. Guest XI is operated by David Camasca ("we," "us," "our").

1. Information we collect

Email address, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), your name or team name, role (club/coach, parent, or player)	When you create an account

2. Children's information

Guest XI is intended for use by adults — parents, guardians, coaches, and players old enough to manage their own account. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Where a listing or interest form includes a minor's name and age group, that information is entered by the minor's parent or guardian using their own account, not collected from the child directly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information other than through a parent/guardian's account, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.

3. How we use this information

To operate the board — showing listings, matching them to your area and age group, and letting you express interest or message a team.
To process subscription payments, through Stripe.
To send you account-related notices (e.g. billing, trial ending) and, if you set up alerts, to notify you of matching new listings when you visit.
To respond to support requests.
To understand overall usage of the Service (e.g. how many people sign up or subscribe) — we don't use third-party ad trackers or sell this data.

4. How information is shared

When you express interest in a listing or message a team, the information you submit (your name, contact info, and message) is shared with the team you're contacting — that's the point of the feature. Otherwise, we don't sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us run the Service:

Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
Railway — cloud hosting for the app and database.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email us and we'll take care of it — see contact info below.

6. Your choices

You can update your profile information at any time from within the app.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete it, by emailing us.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from within the app.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. The Service is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Cookies

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in (an authentication token). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
